He was the Youngest puppeteer on Seasame Street (16)
His Role playing Rod/ Princeton in the original cast of Avenue Q
Playing Lumier in the Broadway production of Beaty and the Beast. (Still Playing! But only until July 29th!!)
His creation/ star role of Johhny and the Sprites

Well, while i do love Barrett's PERFORMANCE better...
I love John's singing, and i think he blends more with the Puppet.

and i do think Barrett's cute. And John too.

You thought BARRET had a better performance than JOHN?!? Are you NUTS?!? Don't get me wrong; Barret was okay. But John, he gave life to his characters. You could almost forget that they didn't have any legs, and you totally forgot about John's hand in the puppet. And his emotions were so believable, so strong, you could almost cry with him when Princeton was apologising to Kate, or cheer when Rod finally came out of the closet.

I did. it is/ or was on YouTube. the entire play with the original Cast. i loved it. but there was this ONE thing Barrett did during "If You Were Gay" and it matched the rest of the performance so well... i find it SLIGHTLY better then John's.
I'm not Denying that John is made of pure Awesome (i mean. look at Johnny and the Sprites)
But Barrett has his good points as well! (i mean look at "I'm not that Smart)

Okay, the move that Barret did WAS pretty funny, I'll give you that. But Barret couldn't nail Rod's voice or emotions AT ALL!! And he never let you forget that Rod was a puppet. The two just didn't . . flow. But with John and Rod and Princeton, they connected so well, you could barely tell the difference between puppet and person. And yes, John is pure awesome. While I'm thinking about it, do you want music from Johnny and the Sprites?
